our floorplan:
i basically love our floorplan because its one bedroom (where ill live) and a loft (where molly will live). so molly gets to have her own hippie/ messy territory upstairs and i can keep the downstairs crazy clean. our deposits down and everything, we just need to show up july 15 ready to move in! (i love our parents for handling everything). i also love how our entire house hunt only took one day. yay!

| my foot has been asleep for one week and five days. its really weird- i went to the er on tuesday when i got back and they had no clue what it was. i went to the health center on campus wednesday and they had no clue what it was either. so they told me to come back in a week if it didnt stop. i went back today and they still dont know what it is. so, i am getting tested for diabetes (unlikly i have it) and thyroid disease (more likely). and if both tests turn out negative i have to go to a neurologist and get nerve culture tests done. so... its weird. i dont really like health problems because theyre all i can think about. im just happy that they haven't amputated my foot yet.
other than that, my life has been hectic because i have three classes in a row mwf. and an 8pm section thursday, a 5pm one wednesday, and a 9am one on thursday morning. i have a lot of downtime but that 11-3:10 block on mwf is killing me.. im coming home jan 20-22 to go to six flags and spend my birthday with my family so let me know if youre in town!

| so ive been home for over three weeks and still:
1. i dont know how to turn on the tv (we got a new flat screen tv! and its ginormous)
2. i dont understand the remote
3. i dont know where we keep things in the kitchen
4. i dont know how to use the microwave
5. i dont really get how to use the washer and dryer
6. im not even sure if we own a toaster
but my whole house is like, brand new so i guess its ok

| -im leaving saturday instead of friday because i messed up (basically)... not that it even matters.
-lost is the best tv show ever-- so creepy and i watched four episodes of it tonight and three episodes last night (both at usc.. of course)
-i got a web cam and it dominates... yeahhh
-my life is BORING and i need to go back to school. all i do is spend money and practically live at usc. its going to be sad to leave but i need to

| | i hate when newscasters roll their eyes at reports of families not evacuating even though they were told to-- its easy to evacuate if you are able to afford plane fair and hotels in l.a. when all you have is in one house or one neighborhood, it must be almost impossible to leave. even though i have a life and friends outside of manhattan beach, it would still be so hard to just pick up and leave immediately, especially when the pet factor is considered-- i would die if i had to leave my dog. it breaks my heart that these people are being criticised. it is getting so hard to watch the news.. not just because of the people who wouldn't evacuate (thats only a tiny factor thats been bothering me) -- this entire thing is just so tragic. | | comments: Leave a comment |
